A web based proxy can be a wonderful script to anonymously surf websites that you have had your ip address blocked at; I will show/give you a few tips and tricks to complete + I will give you a few resources to use in this brief article!

What is a proxy?
A proxy is a powerful script that lends you another ip address to use, thus allowing you to visit websites that you have had your current ip address blocked at or even get past work filters! A proxy has various advantages over a normal ip address but also has many disadvantages!

What does a proxy do?
A proxy changes your ip address so that you can anonymously surf sites that you have had your ip blocked at, get past work filters or even just to speed up your current connection! This can also be a huge, huge help if you would just like an ip address from another country to fool php scripts that detect your ip address. Just beware that a proxy may cause some trouble if you use it at the wrong times, for example at a get paid to do offers site; this is only if they find out, though!

What do you mean by "unblocking" sites?
By this, I mean unblocking sites from work filters and/or your ip address if it has been blocked by the site that you wish to anonymously surf. This question is very similar to "What does a proxy do?" and basically has the same answer so I will not go into detail!

Now that you know how to unblock websites that you have had your ip blocked at, you should give it a try! If you would like to learn more about proxies, please try reading some more articles! I hope that this article has been of help to you and that it will encourage you to start using proxies; just remember what you would feel like if someone else were to use a proxy at a site that you owned, though! A proxy can be very harmful to certain types of websites (e.g. forums, gpt sites etc.).

Latest Myspace Proxy List For 2009

Myspace is worldwide community for young and teenagers who share their thoughts and feelings. They want to communicate each other and make friends in online through Myspace.com. But most of the institutions block this site because of hampering study. So the students of those institutions need proxy for myspace.

New myspace proxies are created in 2008 which are fast and free. This myspace proxy servers are so easy to use for any students of schools & colleges in USA. So I think, at first you have to learn how to use these myspace proxy.

There are actually two or three different ways in which you can access MySpace even if it has been blocked through methods such as a filtering system. One of the most popular and effective ways to handle this is with a proxy.

First, let’s cover what a proxy is, how it works and then how you can apply it to access sites like MySpace that might have been blocked.

In any type of situation a proxy acts as a sort of stand-in. In essence, it just steps in and holds the place for something or someone else. In this case, a proxy server can step in and hold your place online, allowing you to access a site that has been blocked. It works because the filter is looking for sites that it wants to block such as MySpace and others and not the proxy website.

As you probably know, when you type in the URL for MySpace on a computer that has a filtering software, you run up against a firewall and it won’t allow you to access the site. Bummer!

By using a proxy website; however, instead of typing in the address for MySpace you enter the URL for the proxy web server. On most such servers, you will then see a box where you can enter the URL for the site that you really want to visit and through the proxy web server you will be taken right to it. The filtering system on the computer doesn’t catch it because as far as it’s concerned you are visiting the proxy web site. The site you wish to see is loaded onto the proxy’s server. The server will then communicate with the site you want to visit and that is communicated to your browser.

Not only can you access pages that would normally be restricted but you can also do so anonymously without any fear of leaving details about your and the server that might would have otherwise been collected during your visit. There is no trace of your IP address left and no one will be able to see what you have been doing. In a nutshell the proxy server takes the place of your IP address.

Whether you’re having problems because of a restricted network, a firewall or filtering program you can safely and easily access any site that you wish without leaving any details regarding your visit or having any concerns about spyware being downloaded to your computer. Rather ingenious, hmmm?

One word of caution about proxy sites; however. Filtering systems are catching on to this practice and it’s possible that a good filtering system could filter out some of the proxy sites to keep you from even getting to those sites to access MySpace. Like everything else; however, proxy sites are popping up all over the place and it is highly unlikely that the filtering software that is installed on the computer you are using would be able to filter out all of the proxy sites. So, you might have to try one or two before you get to one that isn’t being filtered out by the software but it can be done.

Proxy servers give you back the control you want, all with the ability to view any site you want, safely and securely.
